Unveiling the Journey: Watch & Weight
Whew! That's right, I said "Weight", not "Wait," and I hope I haven't scared you off already. No, this blog post is not about to be a full commentary on weight loss or eating habits. I actually want to share a story with you all about something I just experienced a few days ago.
I was invited to a women's networking event for local entrepreneurs; it was a start-up event, so I figured I would know quite a few women there and was really excited to see all of them and, of course, share my new fragrance line! Being the kind of woman who likes to rock a crop top, I settled on wearing one of my new Amazon crop tops with frilly, short sleeves and vibrant blue and red colours.
The Weight Loss Enigma
After a few minutes of shaking hands, hugging necks, and getting through the business portion of the event, we all mingled around and seemingly settled into our seats for some really great female bonding. While visiting with a few of the women, on more than one occasion, I was told I looked amazing and also asked, "How did you lose so much weight?"
Each time I was asked this question, I grew more and more irritated. Not at all by the fact I was asked the question or even that my size was commented on but more because I posted and raved about my journey online for over a year. And I really do mean I told EVERYONE who would listen what I was doing. So now here I am, 45 pounds lighter, my serotonin levels are up, I feel more like my true self than ever, and people want to know, "How?" AFTER ALL MY POSTING! I would like to know, "How do you NOT know?"
The Revelation: Beyond the Surface
That's when it hit me! Everyone thought I was sharing so I could make money (yes, it was a business venture), but they thought I would put my name next to something without knowing if it would work. I had no reputation, and these women didn't know me from Adam a couple of years ago. I get it now... people really do buy from people, they don't necessarily buy products anymore.
I am a walking embodiment of proof that the product I was sharing with everyone online really works! I am at an event a year later, and people wanna know all about it because I am physically standing in front of them, and they see me 45 pounds down. So here it is: I literally added a packet of powder to my morning cup of coffee (hot water or milk can be used, too) daily and cut out sodas and fried food. THAT's IT! No going to the gym and no crazy dieting.
Style Secrets: Glamify Your Health
I hope this helps any women who do not like to go to the gym or simply just do not have the time. And before any of you even ask... YES, I am still partnered with this wellness company (as I stated before, I stand by what I believe in, even if I wasn't promoting it anymore and not making a dime with them for almost a year), so I will make 4 or 5 bucks when people buy Mojo. I cannot say this enough, though: I AM NOT DOING THIS FOR THE MONEY.Â
I was simply asked how I lost the weight, so I figured I would come to share it publicly. I have posted the link for this easy-to-use product, and if you decide to get it, I am very happy I could help!! Stick with it, and get consistent... WATCH & WEIGHT, be patient because I am proof that you need to WAIT for the WEIGHT to come off.

Fashion Trends: A Reflection of Self-Care and Confidence
In a world where fashion trends and style tips often dominate our conversations, it's essential to recognize the deeper connections between fashion and personal wellness.Â
When exploring fashion for different body types, it's important to celebrate diversity and recognize that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Rather than adhering to rigid beauty standards, focus on dressing to flatter your figure and accentuate your unique features. Experiment with different silhouettes, colours, and textures until you discover what makes you feel most confident and comfortable.
Style Tips for Weight Loss:Â
As I embarked on my weight loss journey, I encountered various challenges when it came to dressing my changing body. However, with the right style tips and outfit ideas, I learned to navigate fashion with confidence and flair. Here are some insights that proved invaluable on my path to wellness:
Embrace Versatility: Invest in wardrobe essentials that can be mixed and matched to create a multitude of outfits. Pieces like tailored blazers, versatile dresses, and classic denim can effortlessly transition from day to night, offering endless styling possibilities.
Play with Proportions: Experiment with different proportions and silhouettes to find what flatters your figure best. Whether it's balancing a fitted top with wide-leg trousers or cinching a flowy dress at the waist, understanding how to play with proportions can enhance your overall look.
How to Accessorize Thoughtfully: Accessories are the cherry on top of any outfit, adding personality and flair to your look. When accessorizing for weight loss, consider statement jewellery, scarves, and belts to draw attention to your favourite features and create visual interest.
Beyond just aesthetics, the psychology of colour plays a significant role in how we perceive ourselves and others. As I embarked on my weight loss journey, I became more attuned to the impact of colour on my mood and confidence.
Tips for Accessorizing for Weight Loss: Elevating Your Look
As you embark on your own journey of weight loss, remember that fashion is not just about the clothes you wear but also the accessories you choose to complement your outfit. Here are some tips for accessorizing for weight loss with confidence:
Focus on Proportion:Â Pay attention to the scale of your accessories in relation to your body size. For example, if you've lost weight and are now wearing more fitted clothing, opt for smaller, delicate accessories that won't overwhelm your frame.
Statement Pieces: While it's essential to maintain balance in your accessories, don't be afraid to incorporate statement pieces that add personality to your ensemble. Whether it's a bold necklace, oversized earrings, or a statement belt, choose one focal point to elevate your look without overwhelming it.
Consider Color: Use accessories to add pops of colour to your outfit and draw attention to your favourite features. Whether it's a brightly coloured handbag, a printed scarf, or vibrant shoes, strategic use of colour can enhance your overall look and boost your confidence.
Fashion on a Budget:Â Finally, let's talk about fashion on a budget. As someone who has navigated both weight loss and the ever-changing fashion landscape, I understand the importance of finding stylish yet affordable options. Here are some smart shopping strategies to help you stay fashionable without breaking the bank:
In conclusion, the journey of watching your weight and embracing fashion is about so much more than just physical appearance. It's a journey of self-discovery, self-care, and self-expression. By embracing your personal style, understanding the psychology of colour, and mastering the art of accessorizing, you can navigate the world of fashion with confidence and grace, regardless of your weight loss journey or budget constraints. So go ahead, unleash your inner fashionista, and let your style shine!
