Glam Up, Budget Down

These days so many of us are feeling the pressure to 'look the part.' I know personally I've struggled with the feeling I am always being graded by the way I look. Maybe not so much judged, because I do not feel as though this "grade" I'm getting is in a negative context. But with that being said, the pressure to look as though I have any semblance of balance, success or even just normalcy in my life, is higher than ever. I have found that the way I carry myself is directly correlated with my confidence and wow let me tell you... THAT comes straight from how I see myself. The way I've started to dress, do my hair, take care of my skin or health and even the perfume I wear will determine how I carry myself that day. Meaning how I am physically walking (posture) or what my attitude is like. Let's be perfectly clear, we have all left the house looking terrible because we just need to grab that one ingredient from the store so we throw on some shoes and bolt out the door praying to the good Lord we don't run into anyone we know! Which really just proves my point. When I get to the store looking that way: my head is down, shoulders are dropped and eyes darting back and forth hoping I make it out unscathed from seeing a friend or even better; a "frienemy."

Now that I know where I pull my confident walk from, I'm on the hunt more than ever for all the things that will help me be my most confident and happy self! Please do not take my words and twist them... I am not looking to impress other people when I speak on looks; I am looking to impress myself. Feel free to substitute confidence with pride anywhere in this post. So here in lies the problem: I can't afford all these things! The wellness kits, the skincare, the clothes, the make up, the shoes AND luxury perfume. I have been on the look out for a lot of these things and I was surprised to find that I really do love Amazon Fashion and their budget friendly prices. Sure it has taken some trial and error but over all I have been happy to order and review some pieces and then of course bring them here to share with you! I'll share some of those links to Amazon below so you can shop with me but obviously we don't all like the same things so be sure to notice the color options. I've also found another really cool company that is making dupe perfume and cologne so I went ahead and ordered a few of those as well. I was able to scoop up perfume that's comparable to Dior, Chanel, Tom Ford and even Baccarat Rouge 540 for $30-$45 a piece and my little blonde head exploded when I got them because I didn't really have high hopes at all. Those items can be shopped for right here on my website! I was impressed enough that I agreed to be partner with them and if you know me from my previous endeavor selling handbags then you also know that I don't like to put my name next to something unless I see, in this case smell, real quality. You may be delighted to also know that my fiancé purchased two colognes for himself and has already come back to buy a few others. For those of you who do not know my wonderful husband to be... he is a hard one to impress when it comes to luxury cologne so you may be able to get your own significant other in on this impressive, budget friendly, fragrance switch up!
